Server Rules

To ensure a fun, fair, and safe environment for everyone, all players must abide by the following rules when playing on NewWorldSMP. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.

1. Client Modifications & Hacking

The use of hacked clients, unfair modifications, X-Ray resource packs, or any macros/scripts that give you an unfair advantage over vanilla players is strictly prohibited.

• Allowed: Optifine, Sodium, minimaps (without player/cave radar), inventory sorting.
• Disallowed: Killaura, Auto-clickers, X-Ray, Freecam.

2. Chat & Community Behavior

We strive to maintain a welcoming community. Treat others with respect.

• No racism, homophobia, sexism, or hate speech of any kind.
• No spamming, flooding, or advertising other servers.
• No death threats or encouraging self-harm.
• Keep swearing to a minimum and do not direct it maliciously at others.

3. Griefing & Raiding

While PvP and raiding are part of the game outside of claimed areas, intentional server damage is not allowed.

• You may raid unclaimed bases.
• You may not use exploits, bugs, or lag machines to bypass claims or damage the server.
• Lava casting or maliciously destroying the terrain around spawn or other players' claims is punishable.

4. Bug Exploitation

Duplication glitches, economy exploits, and bypassing intended mechanics must be reported immediately. Abusing these exploits will result in a permanent ban and a full wipe of your account.

5. Real Money Trading (RMT)

Trading in-game items, currency, or services for real-world money, gift cards, or external services is strictly forbidden.
