Economy & Trading

Wealth is power on NewWorldSMP. The server features a robust, player-driven economy where you can trade items, open shops, and bid on auctions.

The Basics

Your personal balance is used for claiming land, buying items, and funding your clan.

• /balance (or /bal, /money) - Check your current balance.
• /bal history - View your recent transaction history.
• /pay <player> <amount> - Send money directly to another online player.

Auction House (/ah)

The Auction House is a global marketplace where players can list items for sale. Anyone on the server can browse and buy these items.

• /ah - Open the Auction House menu.
• /ah sell <material> <quantity> <price> - List an item for sale (e.g., /ah sell DIAMOND 5 1000).
• /ah search <page> - Browse through listings.
• /ah cancel <listingId> - Cancel your own active listing.

Player Shops (/shop)

If you want to set up a permanent storefront where players can buy and sell items directly to you, use the Shop system.

• /shop create <Name> - Create your own player shop.
• /shop list - Browse all player shops on the server.
• /shop view <shopId> - Open a specific shop to buy or sell items.
• /shop buy <shopId> <itemId> <quantity> - Buy an item from a shop.
• /shop sell <shopId> <itemId> <material> <quantity> - Sell an item to a shop (if they are buying).

Secure Trading (/trade)

If you want to trade items or money safely with another player face-to-face, use the secure trade menu. Both players must accept the trade for it to process.

• /trade <player> - Send a trade request to a player.
• /trade accept <player> - Accept an incoming trade request.
• /trade deny <player> - Deny an incoming trade request.

While in the trade menu, you can offer money by typing /trade money <amount>. Once you are happy with the items and money offered, click the confirm button. The trade will only complete if both players confirm.
